We cordially invite you to participate in the Inaugural Southern University Laboratory School Scholarship 5K Run/Walk and Fun Run. This event will raise money to benefit the students of Southern University Laboratory School. The ultimate goal is to raise $15,000 for many deserving, talented and financially challenged scholars, as well as provide merit scholarship assistance to high academic achievers. The event will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019 on the campus of Southern University and A&M College, and will provide attendees with an on-the-move and healthy networking experience while raising both money and awareness of our program. It will kick off at 7:30 am and awards will be given to the top qualifiers of the 5K. The success of this scholarship and financial aid fundraising event would not be possible without the support of individuals and businesses with a strong connection to our community. With great appreciation, we invite you to assemble a team of friends, lace up your sneakers, and come out and walk/run for a great cause!
