This is the make up date for the Super Awesome Series, Illinois edition!
These are walker friendly races! 8 hour time limit for all distances.
Metropolis, Illinois is the home of Superman! We will be on the rail trail in Fort Massac. Our Super Awesome aid station will never be more than 3 miles away, so you can stay hydrated and fed the entire time. Our aid stations are a complete buffet, including energy gels (a variety of flavors of Gu, Powergel, and Clif Shots), fruit, chips, pretzels, candy, and cookies. We also have a fully stocked recovery zone with foam rollers, massage sticks, BioFreeze, and the all-important chocolate milk for after your race.
Runners completing any distance receive a finisher’s medal. Each runner also receives a reusable cup or water bottle for use during the race. Because this race is a make-up date and is priced super cheap, there will be no other race swag. You are welcome to purchase a shirt or hat as part of your registration. There will be NO on-site sales and NO on-site registration.
