Support Surfside 5K

June 24, 2021 is a day that will never be forgotten in South Florida.  Hundreds of lives were immediately changed forever, while many more will be affected for a long time.  There are certain instances that we are needed to show support to our neighbors. We can all put aside differences and come together for something bigger than all of us, and this is one of those times.  We need to all come together and show our Surfside neighbors and let them know they are not alone.

We are hosting the Support Surfside 5K on Saturday July 31, 2021 at TY Park.  The 5K will begin at 7:30am.  The 5K will be a chipped timed event with awards provided for the Top 3 overall, masters, and age groups.  We hope to see the most avid of runners at the event but also want to see those in the community how want to show our Surfside friends that they care.  You can run, walk, or just stand at the start/finish line to show your support.  All participants will receive an personalized commemorative #SurfsideStrong race bib, event shirt, and finisher medal.

The event age groups will be as follows:

MALE/FEMALE Overall, Masters, 1-8; 9-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75-79;80+
