Swan's Sir Stanley Burgess 5K Run/Walk

For 2021 this Race will be a Virtual Race Race 4 (of 4) of the Legend Series This is Race 4 of 4 races of the Legend Series. To be eligible for the series, you must have entered the series by the second race being the Ray Swan Virtual 8K on May 7 to May 9 as the race series is scored on 3 races out of 4, hence you must be signed up for the series by the 2nd race out of 4.

YOU MUST BE ENTERED IN THE SERIES TO BE ELIGIBLE TO BE SCORED AS PART OF THE SERIES. (Just doing each of the events does not make you eligible for the series). Note, due to Covid, your 2020 result of the Ed Sherlock race which would have preceded this race as race 1, will be used as the first race of this 2021 Season. Those results can be seen by clicking here INFORMATION FOR VIRTUAL THIS RACE You can complete this race at any time between Friday May 21 and Sunday May 23The Start and Finish Marks for the Course will be clearly visible. See Route Below.All Participants are asked to submit finish times based on their completion of the marked start and finish.You can submit your time up to Thursday May 27 for this race.Bib Numbers are assigned, but they are virtual, so you can print them at home (if you wish). This event is being held to complete the 2021 Legend Series (postponed from 2020), so there are no prizes for entering the event only. The Legend Series Participants will be eligible for prizes as part of the Series.

Route: 

5K: Start just outside the BFA Parking Lot , head out West, Left onto Frog Lane and down and around the Round About, then down Frog Lane , Right onto old Military Road, Middle Road, left onto Parsons Road, left onto Palmetto Road, Run down to Blackwatch Pass, turn around at the Traffic Control at the entrance to Black Watch Pass, Run Back along Palmetto Road, Around the round-a-bout at frog lane, Run up Frog Lane, left onto Cedarbridge Lane, Left onto the BFA Parking Lot.
