About the event
The celebration will feature a 5k road race, a special dog walk, live DJ, exhibitors, food trucks, games, and of course, brews by our host brewery, Tupps Brewery. There will be plenty of space to enjoy activities and our finishers fest. This celebration will also provide a perfect opportunity to inform attendees of pet-friendly businesses and services. All participants receive an super soft race tee and finishers medal. More surprises to be announced soon!!!
Celebrate TGPR’s mission to rescue at-risk Great Pyrenees by participating in our signature event, the Double Dew 5k. TGPR is hosting this event on Saturday, May 30th, 2020 at Tupps Brewery in McKinney, Texas. This event will celebrate the immense work done by our rescue while raising awareness about our breed and funds to benefit the hundreds of adoptable dogs cared for by TGPR.
***Please Note: For safety reasons, dogs will not be allowed on the 5k race course, but leashed, friendly dogs WILL be welcome to participate in a special pooch parade and throughout the entire finishers festival.
