Description
The Backland is the biggest last man standing trail race near the Texas and Oklahoma border. This race is run on a majority trail with a little bit of road. This race was made to see how far you can really push yourself.

7:00 AM to 9:00 AM Packet Pickup
9:00 Gun goes off (race starts)
Race Rules
Runners have 1 hour to complete a 4.5 mile loop. Every hour the gun will go off to start the new loop. If you finish the loop in an hour, you wait for the gun to go off again before you continue. If you don't finish within 1 hour you're out. The last man (or woman) standing wins a trophy and a six-pack of beer (rootbeer if under 21)
What You Get
Every runner will get a Backland shirt, a bad #ss race experience, and a good time with new people and stories to tell. The winner gets a big trophy and a six-pack of beer, rootbeer if under 21. We will have aid station food and supplies at this event at the main tent.
