The Drop - Winchester

The Drop – Winchester takes the concept of endurance racing and flips it on its head. Choose a 10-mile or 15-mile (16 or 24 km) challenge and prepare to be disoriented, disconnected, and dropped into the unknown. Once you hand over all GPS devices, maps, and phones, you’ll be blindfolded and transported by bus to a secret location outside Winchester. From there, it’s your mission to find your way back—no route, no directions, just your instincts and determination. The distance is measured “as the crow flies,” but the path you carve out may be far longer. Go solo or in a team, but if you break the seal on your emergency bag, use outside help, or turn to unapproved maps—you’re out. This is Winchester’s most unpredictable and mentally demanding running event, where self-reliance is the only strategy that counts.
