The History Ultra

Join us in the Vosges mountains for an unforgettable experience and a chance to write a new page in your life! This 150 km race, taking place over 5 days, tests the tenacity and perseverance of all participants. Trace the path of Julius Caesar's armies and the Allied forces from 2000 years ago to 1945 as you traverse the same land that empires, kingdoms and nations alike have fought for due to its strategic importance and wealth. The race is run on long-distance paths (GR) and is marked, so no navigation is required. Participants must carry all their own equipment, with only dinner and breakfast provided at the checkpoints. The nights will be spent in Vosges Club refuges with participants bringing their own sleeping bags. Take in the beauty of the region, its culture and food while running, and make this a family vacation by staying at the Huttopia Campsite.
