About the event
Packet pick-up and same-day registration opens at 7:30am on Saturday, May 12th. Race start time is 8:30am.
This is a family-friendly, pet-friendly walk/run along the beautiful trails encircling both lakes at Green Lakes State Park. The run remembers and celebrates the life of LIttle Moe, the brave and trusting rescue pony who came to Skanda in 2013 and touched the hearts of all who met him.
Family teams celebrating Mother's Day Weekend will receive a discounted entry fee of $25 per person, and a special commemorative t-shirt.
All proceeds go to support rescued horses at The Haven at Skanda, the nonprofit organization that cares for Central New York's most vulnerable rescued horses, farm animals, and endangered species. To learn more about The Haven at Skanda: www.thehavenatskanda.org
