The Walk n' Woof 1K - 5K

Come join us in Sequim on Saturday, September 10th, for KSQM’s annual Pet Lovers Day and the new "The Walk n' Woof 1K or 5K".  Enjoy the great outdoors with your best friends (4-footed or not) for an exciting day of Booths, Food, & Furry Fun!  Pet Day & Walk “Partici-pets” should be well mannered and leashed. 
All Proceeds go to the Sequim Dog Park Pals!
Sequim Dog Park was founded by Sequim Dog Park Pals, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit service organization. We are volunteer run and donation supported. All donations go towards maintaining and improving Sequim Dog Park and educating people about canines. Sequim Dog Park Pals provided all benches, fences, shelters and other amenities through donations. City of Sequim provides mowing, weeding and other ongoing park maintenance. Together we have created one of the most highly-rated dog parks in the country!
Fall is around the corner and KSQM is having their annual Pet Day Celebration.  This year KSQM added on the 1K & 5K walk which is being sponsored by Ideal Health Weight Loss and Wellness Center.  This is a nice calm walk-through beautiful Carrie Blake Park.  Everyone walks at their own pace.  The walk will be staggered so walkers are able to have lots of space to walk.  Please tell your friends and family.  This is such a wonderful cause.  If you haven’t been to the dog park, go by and check out all the dogs having a great time.  Your participation will be so greatly appreciated.  You will make a huge difference on the upkeep of the park.  Sequim is a pet lover’s paradise; the residents are the nicest and kindest individuals that bring pets to their home and make them part of the family.  You see pet owners out walking their pups in rain or shine.  
This is the last summer event for 2022 and you will not only be supporting a wonderful cause but you could also enjoy booths, food, drawings, exhibitions and lots more.  Best part is having FURRY FRIENDS EVERYWHERE!

Check in for Walkers is from 11am till 1pm at the Carrie Blake Park Venue (350 N. Blake Ave, Sequim, WA).  Plan to be back by 3pm to collect your swag!  Walk registration fees go directly to help our Sequim Dog Park Pals maintain the beautiful Off Leash Park there at Carrie Blake Park.
This is a family friendly event for all ages that will trek through and around the beautiful grounds of Carrie Blake Park. Kids under 10 are free.
