Details: 
Join us at the Annual Tache Realty Wicked Half Marathon in historic Salem, MA!  Participants will have a 4 hour time cap to complete this course. The course will offer aid stations every 1.5-2 miles and there will be a ton of cheerful volunteers on the course. Everyone will receive a custom finisher medal that you will be a nice addition to your collection. The event attracts close to 1000 runners, including elites to beginners traveling from all over the world. We promise the scenery in Salem and Marblehead will make these miles fly by!!

Packet Pick Up Options:
*Yes you can pick up for your friends.
Saturday pre race packet pickup will be held from 10-2PM at B&S Headquarters, 45 Congress Street, Dock 19/20 Shetland Park, Salem MA (GPS: 90 Leavitt St, Salem MA) and enter Shetland Park at end of street, veer left in the parking lot and look for Dock 19/20 where the stairs are. 
Race Day(Sunday): Starting at 5:30AM at Race Site
**If you are not pre-registered by Friday at Noon you will not be able to pick up your race materials until race morning.

Swag: Custom long sleeve shirts and personalized bibs will be provided to participants pre-registered by September 5th. All participants will receive an event finishers medal upon completion of the event. If you wish to purchase any additional swag items, you’ll have that opportunity through the registration process, post race or at packet pickup. 

Course: USATF certified course can be found at www.bnseventmanagement.com 

Course Time Cap: 4 hour time cap beginning at 7AM
**Sunshine start at 6:30AM will be made available for participants that have a pace slower than 16min/miles. This will be communicated through the athlete email that will be emailed to you and posted on Tuesday, 9/19.

Course Details (Water Stations and Bathrooms):
The course will offer an Aid Station approximately every 1.5-2 miles or so. Aid stations will have either Gatorade or Water, sometimes both.  The water stations at Devereux Beach will have Gu’s, petroleum jelly, and bathrooms. **Note, water stations will not be setup until 7AM so those participating in the unofficial 6:30AM start, should be equipped with nutrition/fuel for the beginning portion of the course.

Strollers/Dogs: We do welcome strollers & dogs but ask that you line up in the back at the start line. 

Parking: There is ample parking in and around the Willows (parking all down in the Willows casino/entertainment area), parking along Fort Avenue and at the Bentley School (25 Memorial Dr) less than a 1/2 mile away from the race site. YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO PARK IN FRONT OF ANY HOUSES OR IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD OFF FORT AVE. YOUR CAR WILL BE TOWED. PLEASE OBEY ALL PARKING SIGNS.

Post Race Details: An assortment of packaged food/drink will be available post race, including non alcoholic beer from Athletic Brewing, Kates Real Bars and more. We will have a beer tent this year selling Notch Craft Brew so bring some cash (venmo also accepted). We encourage you to head downtown Salem where there are several restaurants, bars, cafes and boutique shops that are worth checking out. If you’re looking for Food or a post, post run beverage, we recommend visiting any of these three restaurants including: Barrio New England who will also be offering a "BUY One Taco, Get One 50%Off", The Derby or Brothers Taverna who will be offering 10% off food.

Race Charity: The Tache Realty Wicked Half Marathon will be supporting the Salem Children’s Charity, SACS and Good Sports Inc.  

Accreditation’s: The Wicked 1/2 Marathon has been voted one of the top 100 best half marathons in the country by The 100 Half Marathons Club members for 2014, 2015, & 2016! The Wicked 1/2 Marathon has been voted the Best Half Marathon by North Shore Race Guide in 2015.

Race Refunds & Event Cancellations: We understand life happens and things may come up. We’ve implemented a defer and transfer policy for FREE up to a certain date for all B&S events. Refunds and transfers/deferments made after said date will incur a small fee for administration purposes. In the case of event cancellation due to public safety, inclement weather or some other unforeseen power at be, the event will become virtual.
