About the event
The Tour de Pines, sponsored by Pinelands Preservation Alliance celebrates Pinelands Month in October. This year we offer four single-day self-guided bicycle tours on the paved roads of the New Jersey Pinelands. There is no other bike ride like this in New Jersey!
Participants register for each day & route they want to participate in; if you register for multiple days, you will automatically receive an entry fee discount on your additional days, if you register for them at the same time. For example, your initial ride will cost $50, and your additional rides will cost $20 each. Each participant who registers by August 11, 2024 will receive a complimentary Tour de Pines Arm Wine Bottle Tote (which also holds 2 water bottles nicely) prior to your first ride (one per person, regardless of the numbers of days you register for).
Proceeds benefit the Pineland Preservation Alliance (PPA). Founded in 1989, the PPA is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to saving the Pinelands of New Jersey. PPA protects the land, water, plants, wildlife, and historic resources of New Jersey’s Pinelands National Reserve. The PPA engages thousands of people each year in actions to protect the wildest place in New Jersey.
All routes start & finish in the same location; participants provide their own transportation, food, and lodging as these are unsupported rides. Although the rides are self-supported & self-guided, we will provide each participant with:
