TSG 5K - Honoring Tyler Scott Goldberg

Join us on May 20, 2023 at Markham Park for the TSG 5K honoring Tyler Scott Goldberg.   The 5K is a chipped timed run/walk and will provide awards for the top 3 overall and age groups (male and female).  The 5K course runs through beautiful Markham Park, which often produces personal best times.  We are rooting for you to set your personal best 5K time at the TSG 5K.

TYLER SCOTT GOLDBERG was an intelligent, responsible and courageous 14 year old who was a good student, a talented athlete, and well-rounded young man. He was passionate in his love for his family and his love for sports. Tragically, Tyler suffered massive neurologic and respiratory injuries when the personal watercraft he was operating crashed into a dock in Markham Park in Sunrise, Florida. Despite his courageous fight for life and the heroic efforts of paramedics and the health care providers at Broward General Hospital’s Trauma Center and at Jackson Memorial Hospital, Tyler died two weeks later. This Foundation was established to honor Tyler’s life and memory by protecting children and their families from suffering the types of devastating injuries, loss and pain sustained by Tyler and his family.
