The Ultra Trail du Bout du Monde, in partnership with Parks Canada, is a unique experience that will allow runners of all levels to experience sweeping seascapes and spectacular mountain views unique to all of Canada. Set on the Forillon Peninsula in height of the fall seasonal colors, trail races ranging in distance from 10km to 50km await. Family fun run experiences of 800m and 3km are planned for the next generation of runners as well.
The Ultra Trail du Bout du Monde (UTBdM) has been developed by trail runners, for trail runners. Organized by Land's End Expedition Racing, the same organization that runs the very popular Canadian Skyrunning Festival and the Ultra Trail du Mont Albert (UTMA) in the Gaspesie National Park, the UTBdM promises to become another huge success for the trail running in the Gaspe Peninsula and the Quebec Trail Running community.
The Ultra Trail du Bout du Monde was created in order to showcase the unique, natural beauty of the Forillon National Park and to provide national and international visibility to all that it has to offer. The UTBdM continues to cement the reputation of the Gaspesie as the new Trail Running Mecca of Canada’s eastern provinces. This inspirational event, held in an equally inspirational environment, provides yet another reason for runners to lace up their shoes, start training and achieve their goal of tackling the trails of the UTBdM and the Forillon National Park.
