About the event
The Van Cortlandt Park 50k
The race is designed for the beginner to be able to safely complete while remaining challenging and for experienced runners to be able to enjoy a fast time testing their endurance. The course is ten loops of the classic cross country course plus a lap of the flats to start off with. There are rocks and roots but they’re not plentiful.
Overall elevation is about 2200ft
Aid stations will be fully stocked ultra style + no further than 3 miles apart.
There are custom finisher medals and a limited edition singlet for each racer.
Overall winners will receive a trophy and cash.
