Velvet Hammer 5K Social Run/Walk - July

Sugar cookies are not just for enjoying during the holidays, these classic cookies, have their own National Holiday! National Sugar Cookie Day begins in the roots of the sugar cookie, which is said to date back to the 1700s among the Nazarene’s of Pennsylvania who were German Protestants. They made this simple creation from the old saying, "that was proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy." Sound familiar? Well, Benjamin Franklin claimed this was beer, but we have to say, it's really both! Come on out and pair your favorite Peticolas brews to see which is best paired with this classic treat.

Check in is between the hours of 8AM-9AM. You can start your run/walk whenever you would like, or join the 'group' start at 8:30AM and run with the group! The rolling start allows you a choice, flexibility to go at your pace but please arrive by 9am (check in ends promptly at 9AM, thank you!).

Along the trail there will be mile markers out, and bottled water available to take with you (there is no water on the course), or bring your own filled water bottle.
The social run includes the run/walk, a custom branded pint glass, three brews and CASA MASA breakfast. The three Peticolas brews can be enjoyed anyway you want, meaning, you can drink all three in the Taproom as drafts or have one draft and then take two cans TO GO or in any combination.

SOCIAL RUN SCHEDULE
8:00 AM-9:00 AM: Check in and start the social run/walk (rolling start between 8:00 AM-9:00 AM) OR
8:30 AM: “Group” Start (for those who want to run with a group)
9:30 AM: Breakfast
10:30 AM: Social run raffle
11:00 AM: Last call
11:30 AM: Social run/walk ends

NOTES & TIPS
-Check in is between the hours of 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM on the day of the social run/walk.
-The group start is at 8:30 AM, if you want to run or walk with the group, check in before that time.
-Social runs/walks are rain or shine, if weather is bad, we just drink the brews and eat the food indoors and have a great time at the brewery.
-No dogs please, we love them but due to liability reasons they are not allowed.
-Like the Velvet Hammer 5K, there are no refunds, once you are registered, you are registered.
-Bring your ID.
-Kids in strollers are always welcome and always free.
-You can purchase additional beer to go or merchandise at the brewery.

SOCIAL RUN REGISTRATION & TICKET PRICING: Purchase tickets online for $30, all transactions are done online. Social Run Includes: A Casa Masa breakfast, three delicious brews from Peticolas and a custom Peticolas social run branded glass. The social runs/walks are rain or shine and there are no refunds and there is no advance packet pick up.  Once you register, you are registered. If you don't come pick up your social run goodies between the hours of 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM, you lose it, no exceptions. Masks inside the brewery in the common areas are recommended but are not required. Please be considerate of each other's decision!
