Vilnius Christmas Run

This year, the 45th annual Vilnius Christmas Run is taking place - one of the oldest races in Lithuania. It is widely known as the most enjoyable running event in the country - participants come dressed in Christmas-themed, movie heroes or well-known characters' costumes. The race began in 1976, when 77 like-minded individuals came together to celebrate the New Year. Now, there are over 3800 runners in festive getup. Those of all levels of running experience are welcomed, as the course offers 12k, 6k or 3k options around Vilnius' old town. The run is an opportunity to share in the joy of Christmas and to enjoy the company of others.
