Wizard Run - St. Louis

The Wizard Run-St. Louis is back! 

Grab your wand, hop on your broom, and join us for the Wizard Run in beautiful Forest Park in St. Louis, MO!  Starting and ending at the Upper Muny parking lot, distances include a 5K and a 1 Mile Fun Run. After the run, stick around and celebrate the magical world with us with music, a 16 ounce can of Flying Cauldron butterscotch soda, and vendors!

Participants of the 5K will receive a one of kind event shirt in the color of their choice: RED, GREEN, YELLOW, or BLUE , a spectacular FINISHER MEDAL, a custom WAND, a commemorative race bib, and a FREE FLYING CAULDRON BUTTERSCOTCH SODA  at the finish line!  

Participants of the 1 Mile Fun Run will receive a one of kind event shirt in the color of their choice: RED, GREEN, YELLOW, or BLUE, a custom wand, and a FREE FLYING CAULDRON BUTTERSCOTCH SODA at the finish line. 

Packet Pick-up:

Packet pick-up will be on Friday, October 21 at The Cheshire (6300 Clayton Rd, St. Louis, MO 63117) from 12:00pm-6:00pm  AND on Saturday, October 22 at the event site. We strongly advise picking up on Friday if at all possible so as to avoid event morning rush.

Chip Timing:
Chip timing provided for all registered 5K participants by Heartland Racing.

Awards:
5 year age category increments! Prizes will be awarded to the overall male and female in the 5K. Age category awards will be given for the following age categories: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65+

DJ:
The amazing Bob Brown with Boca Enterprises will be partnering up with the fantastic Resonation to provide an unmatched event atmosphere!

Photographer:

We will have a professional photographer on site. All photographs are free to download!

Virtual 5K Option Available!
Runners who can't attend race day can REGISTER for the Virtual 5K.  Virtual runners are not eligible for overall or age category awards.  Virtual runner directions:

Run your virtual race distance anytime during the month of October. 
On or after race day (October 22), post your time result on the Wizard Run Facebook event page.
Our staff will then mail the virtual race packet. Virtual runner packets will include event t-shirt, custom wand, custom finisher medal, and race bib.
FAQ:

1. Are strollers allowed on course?

   Yes! Please feel free to take your little one/s along for the run. 

2. Is this a pet friendly event?

    Absolutely! Well-behaved, leashed dogs are allowed on the race course. 

3. Where should I park?

We have reserved parking in the Upper Muny parking lot. Enter Forest Park at Hampton Head East on Wells Dr. to the McKinley circle . Take McKinley to the Upper Muny parking lot.

    

 4.  Can I walk the race?

     Of course! This is a family oriented event with a great mix of walkers and runners.

5.   Will the race be cancelled if the weather is bad?

       We will run rain or shine, wet or dry! Only in the event of severe weather including lightning will we postpone the start until the weather has passed.
