Word On The Street 5K

Three options for Word on the Street! In person 5K - Saturday, May 13, 2023, 8:00am start
Word on the Street will return to our standard group starting and finishing area. You can expect sponsor booths on site, post-race refreshments and an awards ceremony.
  Virtual 5K  T-shirts and race packets can be picked up at the library starting May 12. Participants from outside the area may request a t-shirt be shipped for a fee. Run or walk a 5K anytime. Choose your route and run anywhere. No race timing, water stop, refreshments, or traffic control will be provided.   Kids' Run - Saturday, May 13, 2023, 9:15am start
Children may register for a 1/3 mile fun run through the prairie behind the library. Each registered participant will receive a t-shirt and finisher ribbon. Parents may join in at no additional cost.   All proceeds from the event benefit the Verona Public Library Endowment Fund.
COST: $25 5K Early registration discount January 1 - March 31, 2023 (plus processing fee) $30 5K April 1 - May 13, 2023 (plus processing fee) $15 Kids' Run (plus processing fee) *T-Shirts can only be guaranteed for registrations completed on or before April 21, 2023  **Online Registration for in-person events end at noon on 5/12/23. Race day registration available in person.  **Online Registration for virtual event ends at 5:00 pm on 5/13/23.   Save by referring friends and family! Receive a $20 refund on your registration fee when 4 other participants register using your referral code.
