Yule Run Clinton Feel the Burn, Not the Frostbite

Come one, come all! Join us in the 4th annual, rousing, holly-jolly race through the heart of Clinton’s decorated downtown!

Yule Run Clinton, now in its fourth year, is a combined 5K walk/run and 8K run through Clinton’s historic Olde Towne and the Clinton Boulevard route of the annual Clinton Chamber Christmas Parade for our city. This year’s themed “Feel the Burn, Not the Frostbite” race starts at 7:30 a.m. and is sure to get you and your loved ones festively dashing through Clinton before concluding by 10:00 a.m., allowing your whole family to relax and view the annual Clinton Chamber Christmas Parade which immediately follows the event. Additionally, the Clinton Chamber offers a virtual race option for those participants who would love to join the fun from a distance. Regardless of the way you race, you'll still get all the holiday feels this year from Yule Run Clinton!

 

Details
All early bird and regular registration participants will receive a race t-shirt, finisher medal, and a participant packet (swag bag), with virtual participants having the option to pick up their bags in person or get them mailed directly to them. Special awards will also be given for each race (5K Walk, 5K Run, 8K Run) to the top three male and female finishers at the in-person event. No t-shirts, medals, or special prizes will be mailed, so in-person race participants must pick up their race packets either before the event or on site at the race, along with any other special prizes. While every effort will be made to offer late registration participants t-shirts, medals, and packets (swag bags), we unfortunately cannot guarantee these items to those who register late for this event. Additionally, there are no refunds for registrations or extra t-shirts purchased, so keep this in mind when registering.

 

Extra Information for In-Person Participants
We encourage in-person participants to be mindful of the weather, as the race takes place outdoors in winter with unpredictable Mississippi weather. If you are visiting from out of town, please remember to check our local weather for our area prior to attending. If for some reason, the event is cancelled at the last minute due to inclement weather, in-person participants will be able to collect their t-shirts and finisher medals at the Clinton Chamber of Commerce (100 East Leake Street, Clinton, MS 39056) and will have the option of continuing their participation virtually. Unfortunately, there are no refunds for registrations or extra t-shirts purchased, so keep this in mind when registering.

Parking is available for this event in the parking lot located at the corner of Capitol Street and West College Street in Clinton, MS. There is no fee for parking, but please review the digital race event information packet that will be distributed to all participants closer to the event time for any changes or updates. Participants will also need to check in with race staff when they arrive at the event - please bring your ID and printed registration ticket with you for check-in. NO PETS are allowed at this event, but strollers are permitted on the course. Keep in mind that the terrain varies, however, as the course goes over both asphalt and brick roads. There will also not be a designated location to leave property, so please leave any personal items or valuables at home or in your car.
