9th Annual FL-WR Walk/Run for Literacy

On November 10,2018, Friends of the Library-Waikoloa Region will hold its 9th Annual 5K Walk/Run for Literacy to promote library causes and to support our various literacy projects. In addition, this year we will have our fourth silent auction at Waikoloa School Cafeteria the same morning as the Walk/Run for Literacy, featuring a beautiful quilt made for and donated to us by the Waikoloa Sew N Sews. There will also be a free Health Fair.

Registration begins at 6:15 am.
Entry Fees: $20.00 adults (online) $30.00 (race day)
$10.00 youth (12 & under)
keiki in stroller-free (stroller-only wheeled entry allowed)

Medal awards for top female/male categories: overall, 9 & under, 10-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+, 1st & 2nd Stroller (gender neutral)
Amenities: Custom designed race t-shirt, clock timing, water stops, post-race snacks, web posted race results
