BARC Lost Dog Found 5K Run/Walk

Join us for a fun, furry 5K Run/Walk at Freedom Park with Almost Home Charities (AHC) and BARC Humane Society! Your dog is welcome to join you! The event name this year, "Lost Dog Found 5K," represents reuniting lost dogs with their owners - we will be offering microchipping on site for discounted rate of $25. This is a FUNdraising event to help this incredible, volunteer-run organization keep rescuing unwanted and unloved animals here in Lowndes and Brooks County to show them that there are people who care! AHC and BARC are 501(c)3 organizations that are dedicated to animal rescue. They rely solely on donations to support their work. Proceeds from this event will go directly to BARC to offset costs for rescue such as sponsor fees to pull shelter animals, food and supplies, microchips, medical care, and spaying and neutering. Help us to end animal overpopulation in South Georgia!

T-Shirt:
All registered runners get a Log Dog Found 5K T-shirt, but register by April 19th to get the shirt on race day! Race day registrants can get their shirts at the BARC event the following weekend at PetSmart. T-Shirt Art has been designed by local artist Ethan Abbott.

Please click on the race "STORE" on our runsignup.com page and purchase a shirt! Proceeds will go towards BARC's vetting expenses for current & future animals under their care.

Packet Pick-Up:
Race day pick-up will be at Freedom Park @ 3795 Guest Road from 7 – 7:45 AM. This will be when/where the race will begin!
