Camp Winona Mud Fest

Our Mud Fest will put your physical endurance and mental strength to the test.  Do you want to try your hand at an obstacle course race?  Well this is the event for you.  Camp Winona is holding its 3rd Annual Mud Fest on the recently built obstacle course that spans 13+ obstacles over 3 miles around the beautiful woods and lake of the camp.  This event is great for beginners and the most passionate fitness enthusiasts of any age.  Join us at Camp Winona for a fun and downright dirty experience!  Stay for the pancake breakfast afterwards, or join us for the weekend and stay in one of the awesome cabins at camp.

Cabin Rentals! Come stay with us at Camp Winona!

Come join us at Camp Winona.  You can stay in one of the cabins out at camp and enjoy the beautiful scenery overlooking the lake, be treated to a tasty dinner the night before and a race day breakfast.  You can book a cabin by calling Camp Winona directly and telling them you are part of the Mud Run.  They will give you the special rate for the event.  The cost is $20 per individual in a shared cabin for lodging only or $25 for lodging and the Friday night cookout, or $140 to reserve the whole cabin for your family or group plus $5 per meal.  Cabins can sleep up to 14 people.  Go swimming in the lake after the race and enjoy the day at camp.  For reservations call 386-985-4544.

You can also join us for the whole weekend at out Family Camp from Friday, October 6th  - Sunday, October 8th.  Families spend their nights in our scenic cabins, enjoy delicious meals in our dining hall and participate in a wide variety of fun and exciting camp programs, from paddle sports to the zip line and everything in between!  Family camp costs $75 per person, ages 13+, and $60 per person for 4 - 12 years of age.

Obstacles

This course covers approximately 3 miles and 17 obstacles.  The obstacles are designed to be accessible for all age groups, from new obstacle participants to experienced runners.  Most obstacles have an easy side and a hard side that give you the option for how hard of a challenge you want to try.  If you don't want to do an obstacle you can simply go around it.  You are also welcome to work as a group or team to get through them.  Some of the obstacles include a warped wall with 8, 9 and 10 foot heights for you to choose from, a 12' inclined wall with rope climb, vault obstacles, balance beams, low crawls, mud crawls and wading through the waters of Lake Winona.  Don't miss out on this fun and exciting challenge.

Packet Pickup and Race Day Registration

Packet pickup will be available at Camp Winona on Friday evening from 4PM - 6PM.

Race day packet pickup and registration will open at 7:00AM on race day at Camp Winona.
