Fiducia Baden-Marathon Karlsruhe

I participated in Karlsruhe Marathon in 2006. There is not too much to say about it: The organization was quite good, but there have been only few spectators at the course which means nearly no support. The course was flat, but you had to pass some bridges, and some sections were sandy. These are not the best conditions for a personal best. And when I reached the finish line after 3:40 h, I had the impression that the helpers in the finish zone already where bored and would rather go home than wait for the remaining marathon runners. This was not very inspiring. Actually I cannot remember one reason why you should start in Karlsruhe instead of anywhere else.
