Saturday, Oct. 27th, 2018 is the 12th running of the Flat & Fast Rural Hall 10K and the 4th running of the Flat & Fast Rural Hall 5K! Both races are USATF certified! Our 5K is a Costume Run (optional of course) so you can dress up and have fun showing off your face paint and/or outfit as you walk, jog, or run the 5K!
As usual, our event is a charity run, with all proceeds over race expenses going to the Rural Hall Elementary School. In 2016 and 2017, with your support, we were able to give them a net check for over $7,000 both years! In 2018, our goal will be to exceed $8,000! The school uses all of these funds for student programs and incentives that could not be offered without this event.
