Friends of Richmond K-9 : 5K for K-9's

5K run or walk to support the Richmond Police K-9 Unit.

Race entry gift: Race participants will receive a t shirt, medal and Friends of Richmond K-9 sports bag.

Awards: Trophies for top 3 male and femal finishers. 1st place male and 1st place female both win gift certificate for famous Sunday Brunch for 2 from The Jefferson!

Age group awards: Top 3 in each age group will recieve special award. Age Groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and over.

IMPORTANT DATE REMINDER: You must be registered online by 5/21/18 noon to be guaranteed a t shirt in your requested size. We will have some extra shirts ordered, but if you register after 5/21/18 there is no guarantee you will get your requested size or a t shirt.

All runners will receive an email on Saturday May 5th and Thursday May 10th with pre bag pickup instructions and other race detail information.

FAQ:

1. Dogs are allowed with owner under the following conditions: Dog must be friendly, well behaved and under owners control at all times. Dog must be up to date on shots. Dog must be on 6' non retractable leash. We ask that runners with dogs start near the back of the pack at beginning of race for saftey of all runners and dogs. Owners must bring own bags to clean up after dog if neccessary.

2. Runners are allowed to have strollers in race. We ask that runners with strollers start near the end of the pack for the safety of children and other runners.

3. Children 5 and under may run/walk with their parent for free if they stay with their parent during the race. Runners 6 and over must pay registration fee and have bib # to participate. We ask that runners with small children start near the back of the pack for their safety.
