Hootenanny 50k

Nestled below Lolo Peak and above the floor of the Bitterroot Valley, you will find the Hootenanny 50k.  The course follows a pristine single track trail designed, built, and maintained by the land owner and can only be used during race weekends. Views of the Bitterroot mountains and high banked turns make this a wonderful trail run whether your eyes are up or down.

It wouldn’t be a Hootenanny without a party! Due to the looping nature of the course, runners are never far from the next festive aid station. With all the food, music, and potential spontaneous dance parties, you may find yourself running faster just to get back to the aid station.
