Land Between The Lakes Trail Runs

Land Between the Lakes Ultras are my wife's favorite races to attend while I run. The area is beautiful and she can enjoy the beauty of nature while waiting for me to come to the next aid station. The race itself is well organized with the choice of running 1, 2, 3, or 4 loops. If you register for and complete either the 3 loops (60K) or 4 loops (50 Miles) you earn one of the most beautiful buckles in ultra-running world. They limit the runners to 200 - 300 so it is not too crowded, but you can usually find someone to run with in order to make the miles go a little faster. The run is a trail along the edge of a lake so you get some wonderful views. I have run this race 4 times. It is always run in March. The weather can be unpredictable in March so sometimes it is cold and windy, so be prepared for that.
