LedLenser Run Beneath the Stars - Rotorua

Get your head lamps ready! It's time to take on an off road night run/walk event based from the Redwoods Centre, Long Mile Road, Rotorua. Run or walk your way around a Quarter or Half Marathon course on a mixture of single trail and forestry roads. The course starts and finishes at the Redwoods Visitors Centre and will follow a mixture of scenic forest trails and smooth gravel forest roads.

The Half Marathon event starts at 5.30pm, the Quarter Marathon at 7pm, heading straight into the darkness of the forest. You will make your way up to the top of the forest, where you will be treated to the stunning view of Rotorua at night. Half Marathon competitors will head off for another lap and Quarter Marathon competitors will loop down and around to the finish line. Music and lights will be pumping from the finish area and hot food and coffee will be available for purchase. Parking is situated along Long Mile Road.

Event Information
Headlamps are compulsory for this event.
All competitors will receive a stunning finishers medal.
Each competitor will receive FREE entry to the popular Rotorua Redwood Tree Walk after they register at the event, valued at $25.
A prize-giving will be held at 9.30pm with plenty of spot prizes up for grabs.
Age Limit: Competitors must be 12 years or older to compete in this event.

$40 per person - Quarter Marathon - includes finishers medal

Late Fees from Tuesday 5 September
$65 per person - Half Marathon - includes finishers medal
$50 per person - Quarter Marathon - includes finishers medal
