Trophies Awarded in the following categories for 5K RUN:  

Top male and female runners, Individual Men & Women Runner.   Categories:  9 & under / 10–14yrs / 15-19yrs and 10-yr groups ages 20 through 80+    NO DUPLICATE AWARDS RUNNING TEAMS OR GROUPS: (runners only) must have 3+ participants & registered by Oct 25, 2017.  Must submit team name on all individual registrations MAYOR'S TROPHY will be awarded to the 1st place team in which all members live or work in Lincoln Park.

On August 28, 2017, the eye of Hurricane Harvey hit the shores of Texas and Hurricane Irma’s path of destruction recently traveled through Florida, where many of our own Lincoln Park residents have relocated to.  If there ever was a town that could understand what those states are going through it is Lincoln Park.  Just a few short years ago on August 28, 2011 Hurricane Irene hit Lincoln Park and some are still feeling the effects of Hurricane Sandy’s October 29, 2012 visit. 

This year we have decided to come together as a community to consolidate our efforts.  We are committed to donating the proceeds from this year’s 5K to benefit the victims of Hurricanes Harvey and Irma through donations to food banks in Texas and Florida that need our help.  Food banks supply more than just food, water and basic staples; they also supply baby formula, baby food, toothpaste, soap, personal hygiene products and so many other items that are part of everyone’s daily routine that were lost in the hurricanes.
