Medieval Marathon

The organisation was super at start and finish. And the course was relatively flat but slightly boring. The finish is spectacular as if winds its way through the medieval city and finishes under the battlements of the city castle. Award for best T shirt ever... Almost worth it for the snazzy T alone

Long winding route out if the city onto back roads. Plenty of locals on hand with goodies. Oh and the route did visit a whiskey distillery (oddly)... Nope I did not partake mostly because I was in my own world of hurt to notice 😂
