RCRC May Edition Virtual 5k and 10k Races

After the success of our April edition of a virtual 5k, we decided to offer all runners/walkers another free opportunity to test their fitness.  We are offering a virtual 5k or 10k (the choice is yours) race to all runners/walkers on Saturday, May 16, 2020.  Guidelines:  1. Follow your local shelter-in-place rules.  2.  Make sure you run on a route that isn't crowded so that you can stay at least 6 feet away from others enjoying the outdoors.  3.  Race can be on a track, road or treadmill and must be done on May 16.  4. We will do a few random prizes (probably random drawing).  5.  Remember if you run on an outdoor track that a 5k is 12.5 laps and 10k is 25 laps on a 400m track (not when your watch beeps)!

Please e-mail results and send in photos of yourself from your race to [email protected]. Indicate in your email if your race was on roads, track, or treadmill. If you use strava or garmin you can also email me your link with results. Also tag us on twitter @RedCedarRun or Instagram @redcedarelite.

We will post more information on specific race result link before the race but it will be on the Red Cedar Running Club website.
