5K Run or Walk along the scenic Black Rock waterfront. This event is over 3 decades old and highlights one of the great neighborhoods in Bridgeport. The water views are terrific, there's just one hill, and the last 7/10 of a mile is downhill and flat. We have a free kids 1/10 mi fun run 15 minutes before the 5k start. go to http://www.hitekracing.com/runfortherock/ for all the race info you need. We welcome walkers & all level of participants. The Run For The Rock is part of "Black Rock Day" that consists of bed races, a parade, and a whole day of fun.
THIS EVENT IS ABSOLUTELY LIMITED to 500 PARTICIPANTS for SAFETY, PARKING, and SO YOU CAN HAVE THE BEST EXPERIENCE POSSIBLE. PLEASE DO NOT WAIT -you may get shut out.
