11th Annual Run – Run in the New Year 5k
St John’s UCC hosts this annual event to raise funds for local outreach programs in Jackson. We provide food, early childhood and parental needs, educational opportunities and support to hundreds of local residents. Our programs touch thousands of lives each year and your support helps us continue this important community work!
EVENT INFORMATION
When: Tuesday, January 1, 2019, 10:00 AM Start
Where: St John’s UCC, 801 S Mechanic (corner of Mechanic and Biddle St)
The race will start and end at St John’s UCC. It will travel down Mechanic St and wind thru festive downtown Jackson. The race route will bring you back to the church, where a warm hall and refreshments will be waiting for all runners. Prizes will be awarded in various age groups. Professional computer chip timing will be used to determine race times.
Top male and female in each category will be awarded a prize and 2nd and 3rd runner up male and female in each category will be awarded a “Better luck next year” cupcake!
Age Groups:18 and under,18-24,25-29,30-39,40-49,50-59,60-69,70-79,80+
