Run Our River 5K Series - May

Description: Join us on the last Tuesday of every month for a 5K race along the river.  The course will remain the same throughout the summer so you'll get the chance to compare your progress throughout the year. 

People of all speeds and abilities are welcome and encouraged. Sign up for 1 race or the entire series of 6 races!  

WHAT YOU GET: Officially timed race, live results, series leaderboard, a chance for prizes for each race. Each month you run you are entered into the series race page to see how your time stacks up throughout the entire series. Register for all 6 races to receive Series SWAG - (Camelback Insulated Coffee Mug)  You must complete 4 races to be eligible to win overall series awards!  (Age Group and Series)  Each race will have a small give-away (expect a nutrition item or small running related knick-knack)  

Vibe: Low frills, everyone encouraging each other to do their best.  Fast times, slow times... lets make some memories.

Registration: May 10 - October 26, 2021

Packet Pickup: 

Monday October 25: 11-5 at Rochester Running Company

Tuesday October 26: 11-4 at Rochester Running Company and 5:30-6:15 PM at the course

When: Tuesday October 26, 2021

Race starts at 6:15pm at the River Trail

Due to COVID precautions: We will have 3 waves for each race.  1st wave will be runners expecting to run under 9 minutes/mile at 6:15 PM.  At 6:17 PM  we will have a 2nd wave of runners/walkers.  Our 3rd wave will go at 6:20 PM and will be family friendly for runners/walkers looking to bring strollers, pets, and young families.  We hope everyone will join us and you can choose the wave you'd like to start with at race time.

Cost: $25.00 includes the race and a nutrition item (Kids/Young adults under 18 years of age are $11.00) 

Bundle Option: Sign up for 4 or more races and receive $5.00 off each race. 

Post Race: Results will be posted online following the race.  Post race party is optional and will be at a local establishment TBD

Race Series Dates: (Sign up on each individual Monthly Race Page) May 25, June 29, July 27, August 31, September 28, October 26 

Parking: Park along the street or at the Church of Love Faith Center (700 Exchange street) 

Bathrooms: There will be NO public restrooms available.  RRC is 1.5 miles away on Mt. Hope for pre-race pit stops :)
