The North Merrick Runners once again bring you…Run the Boards! A 4 mile adventure through Long Beach! $10 gets you a race AND some delicious pizza from Gino's at our after party at Bright Eye Beer Company! This is a non-sanctioned race so PLEASE be careful when running on the street. Be mindful of traffic!
Start/Finish: Corner of National and Park
Race Schedule:
6:45pm - check in opens
7:00pm - Pre-race huddle (attendance required)
7:05pm - Men Start
7:10pm - Women Start
Awards: 1st-3rd Place Male & Female
Bright Eye Beer Company has promised a free flight of Beer to the winners! 2nd and 3rd place will receive prizes as well!
Rules/Route:
-run down National Blvd (against traffic) on east side of street
-must take eastern ramp to boardwalk
-run west on boardwalk to the end, down the ramp, and make first left onto Ocean View Ave
-run Ocean View Ave till end and touch blue wall at Connecticut
-turnaround and run Ocean View Ave (becomes West Broadway) back
-run the bike path on West Broadway Ave (no boardwalk)
-turn left on National Blvd and cross finish line (same as starting line)!
