The Tidewater Strider Duathlon  
Welcome to the 4th Annual Tidewater Striders Duathlon

 

Must Register by June 8th for a guaranteed Race Shirt

 

RACES: Sprint Duathlon - (NEW DISTANCES THIS YEAR)2mile Run- 12.4 Mile Bike - 2 Mile Run / Kids Mini Duathlon - 1 mile Run- 5mile Bike Ride -1/2 mile run! Novice Sprint Duathlon(Non-Road Bike) same distance as the Sprint, this race will be run at the same time as the Sprint!
  COURSE: Out & back course on the closed 2-lane roadway at the Dismal Swamp Trail Park in Chesapeake. 
FLUIDS AND FOOD: There will be 1 aid station with water. Aid station locations will be at 1.5 miles.
AMENITIES & POST-RACE: Premium Race Shirts for men and women will be provided & medals for all Finishers. Onsite hospitality & refreshments with an Awards Ceremony following the race!

 

TIME LIMITS:  Sprint --- The race starts at 7:30 AM. Kids Mini starts at 9:15 am. 3hr time limit for the sprint, 2 hr time limit for the mini
AWARDS: The top 3 overall Male and Female and the top 3 males and females in 10-year age groups will receive awards for Sprint Duathlon!  9 under 10-12 13&up for Mini Duathlon! top 3 Overall male & Female in the Novice sprint Duathlon
REGISTRATION:  Registration will be open until Friday, June 28 2024. NO race day Registration. 

 

Packet Pickup- Race day packet pickup starting at 6:30 am

 

 STRIDER PLUS: Automatically applied at checkout through June 28th. 
CLUB MEMBERSHIP DISCOUNTS: A Club membership discount of $5.00 is available up to June 28th. Discounts are automatically applied on the payment page during registration. You should use the account you used to register for the club to apply for this discount. We will also attempt to match on name/date of birth.
Paper entry forms are not available.

 

Bike Racks will be available and ready race morning by 7 am!
