Virtual Global Running Week

if not anything virtual events like this motivate a runner to pursue and keep running for a good cause, a better quality of life for the planet.

I've been doing my training runs in Dublin's Phoenix Park for the past 15 years. It's a great place to run ... green grass beside the footpaths, duck ponds, interesting hills ... great for actual or virtual races. This is my 7th virtual race! Super!

I truly love the half-marathon distance for races. It's long enough to reward those who like longer, slightly slower paced, runs. Yet, it's NOT as exhausting as a full 42.2km marathon. As I'm a veteran runner, I can run this distance without significant risk of injury. Thanks for your support of road-racing in ALL its forms! Peace, G-man
