According to their website, "Give Kids The World Village is a 79-acre, nonprofit "storybook" resort, located near Central Florida's most beloved attactions, where children with life-threating illnesses and their families are treated to weeklong, cost-free fantasy vacations."
&, the Pre-Med Activities Council at the University of Kentucky wants to help! We will be traveling to Kissimmee, Florida in early May to volunteer for a week. We are currently raising money to provide scholarships for as many pre-medical students to attend as possible, as well as fulfill items on the wishlist Give Kids the World provided.
The Where Happiness Inspires Hope 5K will take place on March 6 at 10:00 AM at Coldstream Park. It is a fun run/walk and will not be timed, however, there will be prizes award to the top three finishers. Please consider supporting us and attending!
