The original east-of-Wy’east 50-miler and 50K is possibly our most scenic race ever. You will want to return to these ridge line trails again and again.
The Wy’east Wonder is a point-to-point race run mostly on two ridges; Gunsight Ridge and Surveyor’s Ridge. You will have so many views of Wy’east (the Multnomah Tribe word for Mt. Hood) as you make your way from it’s southern side around to the east, that you may actually get tired of looking at it. We promise we’ll take your breath away, and it won’t be from only running. The 50M route has 7082′ of elevation gain and 10,012 of loss. The 50K has 4193′ of gain and 7122′ of loss.

The Wy’east Wonder 50-mile course is stunning. You will have so many views of Mt. Hood, as you make your way from the southern side of the mountain, around to the east. You’ll also be treated to vistas of eastern Oregon’s desert and the Hood River Valley orchards. The single-track is super fun and includes some newly created trails.
