Marathon de Lausanne

Amazing location, good organization and a perfect date at the end of the season.

It was my first time to run 10 km Marathon, and ran in a foreign country as I just arrived to work in Geneva in July this year. 10 km might be a very short distance for many Marathonists but for me who didn't really work out much until then, finishing it is really an ordeal I have never dared to dream about. Although it was very cold that day, the cheer from the crowd and the hands they stretched out to encourage me were full of warmth. I am already planning to take part again in 2019.

10 km is not easy for a beginner like me of this age but that I finished it would push me forward, I believe.
