Outer Banks Marathon Weekend

I'm not a runner; however, when reading the overview in this posting I note that Sentence #4 indicates the following: The second is crossing the 35 foot tall Washington-Baum Bridge leading to Roanoke Island at mile 23. Toward the end of the overview the following is noted: Crossing the Washington-Baum Bridge at mile 23 will be your next challenge. The bridge is tall (stats: 1.05 mi long, 82' high, with a 650' climb to the top at a 4% grade). Preceding this data is the sentence " you can look forward to a surprise every mile of the way!". Runners that have never participated in the OBX will be sorely surprised if their reading stopped early in the overview and they expected a rise of 35-feet and found out it was actually 85-feet. Almost 2.4 times what the expected.
