Moses Gaikaria Mbugua (2:11:41) bested Bakari Khamis (2:11:54) to win the 27th annual Marathon International de Marrakech in Morocco.
Just around 800 runners completed the course.
Augustine Kipkoech Ronoh (2:12:36) finished just ahead of Ronald Kipkoech Korir (2:12:59) for third.

For the women, it was Mijana Shasho Insermu (2:32:42) in first.
Tigistgirma Getchew secured second with a time of 2:33:03.
Loice Jebet Kiptoo (2:33:54) came in third.

Half Marathon results
Mustapha El Aziz (1:00:39) outpaced more than 4,300 runners to win the Semi-Marathon International de Marrakech.
Zakaria Boudad (1:02:14) cut close to a minute from his time a year ago to repeat as runner-up.
Hassan Abbassi (1:02:16) managed to hold off Hicham Lquahi (1:02:21) for third.
Laquahi finished third in 2014.
For the women, it was Keltoum Bouassriya (1:12:29) claiming victory.
Runner-up Soud Kanbouchia (1:13:10) cut more than three and a half minutes from her sixth-place finish a year ago.
Kanbouchia finished third in 2014.
Aicha Bani (1:15:11) repeated in third, despite finishing 27 seconds slower than in 2015.
