Screven's Firecracker 5K and Color Run

This athletic event in Screven, GA, offers a unique opportunity to enjoy a day of running and celebration. The day kicks off at 7AM with registration and packet pick-up, followed by a 1-mile Color Stroll at 8AM and a 5K race at 8:30AM. After the 5K, an awards ceremony will recognize top performers. The 5K and 1-mile courses are mostly flat and start and finish at the Community House on Bill Royal St. Entry fees are $25 with early registration and $30 for late or race-day entries, with a family option available. Participants are guaranteed a short-sleeved t-shirt if pre-registered.

Awards in the Color Stroll include ribbons for participants under 12 and overall male and female awards for those 10 and under. The 5K awards include overall male/female winners and top two in age groups from 10 & under through 70 & over. Results will be shared on the Screven City Facebook page.

Post-race festivities begin at 3PM with food, vendors, live music, and a fireworks display at dark. The Second Chance Band will perform at the Screven Fire Station from 8PM to 10PM.
