Turtle Crawl Runs - 5K / 10K

The annual race event on Jekyll Island supports the Georgia Sea Turtle Center's mission of sea turtle rehabilitation, research, and education. Participants can join various races, including virtual options, while raising funds for the center. The Turtle Crawl event has contributed significantly to the care of over 3,000 patients, including sea turtles and coastal wildlife, raising more than $100,000. Race participants receive a t-shirt and those placing in their age group earn a medal. This event emphasizes environmental conservation and encourages participants to become sea turtle ambassadors.
