デューンマラソン 〜砂漠ラン〜

The event was perfectly organised. I liked many aspects: 1) it was not crowded, so all runners extablished good connection and provided support to each other 2) Race track was good marked, and runners were constantly observed by support team which moved along track by cars 3) Cultural program around event was very reach and interesting 4) Logistic was efficient 5) Support team was very helpful It was fun and value for money. Very recommended!

I like that the track was only partially in dunes. It gave me experience of running in real dessert, but since it was quite difficult and tiring to run on sand, was good that the largest part of the race was on very convenient surface.

It was a true and magnificent experience in the Moroccan desert. It was not only the marathon, but the activities and especially the people that made this trip unforgettable. Good food and comfortable stays, never to be underestimated. But most of all I will remember the conversations with the other participants, learning about the different backgrounds and the different reasons for making this trip to Morocco and sharing this experience. Definitely highly recommended!

Another great adventure with wildmarathon! I loved every minute of this outstanding trip: extremely well organized, fantastic food, great company, breathtaking views and lots of fun in the desert. It was not too hot to run in the desert, aid stations were well spaced and had all I need to fuel up and keep going. Outstandingly marked path: no need to look at my Garmin, so I had more time to enjoy the landscape, light breeze and hamada under my feet. I will forever remembered how beautiful it was to run in the dunes and how excited I was to see the finish line in the little desert paradise. Additional activities like camel ride, 4x4, visit of the Nomads, sunset and moonrise in the desert indeed left the deep impression in my heart. Morocco is such a beautiful country and indeed, some parts of it are still wild and simply cannot be missed! Highly recommend to every adventurer!

Wow! Had no idea that the Sahara Desert could be so amazing. It was exotic and wonderful with incredible attention to detail. The race director left nothing to chance in order to insure a phenomenal experience for everyone. The course was a challenge for me but worth the effort to be part of an experience that was far beyond my expectation.

Not being a trail runner, the rocky desert with engulfing sand dunes made the marathon distance a little grueling for me — but worth the experience.

Wow! What an amazing opportunity. This was! Extremely well organized, the course was marked extremely well, and the views were most beautiful. The accommodations were top notch as was the food. The extra included activities were a lot of fun, a great way to make new friends in incredible places. Look forward to other venues with this small company before they become well known and have to require qualifying times in order to participate. Just Do It….. you’re not getting any younger

Bellissima esperienza di corsa nel deserto, con un' ottima organizzazione. Assistenza sempre presente, prima, durante e dopo. Molto bello dopo la corsa, potersi rilassare in piscina con un ottimo ristoro e davanti il meraviglioso panorama delle dune. Poi la passeggiata con i cammelli sulla duna di Merzouga ad ammirare il tramonto sul deserto. Ottima l'ospitalità e la sistemazione del resort. Per chi vuole provare l'esperienza della corsa nel deserto, questa è sicuramente un'ottima opportunità, perché trovi organizzazione, assistenza e tanta amicizia.

Il percorso della gara è molto sicuro e ben segnalato con punti di assistenza e ristoro. Abbastanza vario e piacevole perché si passa dallo sterrato, ben correvole, alle bellissime dune tipiche del deserto, passando anche vicino a dei piccoli gruppi di abitazioni del deserto. Bello e incredibilmente reale l'effetto "miraggio" dove sembra di vedere in lontananza una grande estensione di acqua!

The Dune Marathon was an incredible experience! From the hotel, the camel ride, the challenging run in the desert, the food; everything was beyond expectations. I will remember this experience forever as well as the other runners and the race organizers.
