Experience the thrill of racing in one of the most iconic locations in the world with the Golden Gate 10K, UjENA Fit Club 5K Run/Walk, and the Golden Gate Double 8K (5K+3K) near the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, California. Sponsored by My Best Runs, Clif Bar, and Sports Basement and hosted by UjENA Fit Club, these races offer athletes stunning views of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area for more than 80% of the course. Participants can collect their race packets either the day before the event from noon to 5 PM at Sports Basement, 610 Old Mason Street, SF, or on the day of the race between 6:30 AM and 7:45 AM. The competition kicks off with the first leg of the Double 8K, followed by the Golden Gate 10K and the UjENA Fit Club 5K, all beginning promptly at 8:15 AM. The second leg of the Double 8K is set for a 9:30 AM start, leading into the awards presentation at 10:15 AM. All participants will receive a high-tech shirt, and finishers will be awarded a special Golden Gate medal. Winners in the Double 8K, 10K, and 5K across age-groups (19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 plus) will take home a performance medal. There’s also $200 in prize money for the Double 8K, with $100 for the top male and female finishers, along with trophies for race champions.
