Run for Mike

Join us for the 3rd Annual Mike Elhard Memorial Run! If you knew Mike, you knew his large smile, love for running, and passion for baseball! Mike passed away while preparing to run the Chicago Marathon, a race he had waited years to run on September 13th, 2021. On Saturday, September 16th, 2023 we will gather at the Purgatory Creek Park Pavilion in Eden Prairie, MN to celebrate Mike. Let's continue to show Kristi, Owen & Ethan our support and "Run for Mike!"

Attending the run in-person is not required. Register to run the virtual 5k and participate from your hometown while sharing pictures on the “Run for Mike Elhard” Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/groups/217716396919833/

Participants are encouraged to wear blue or your “Run for Mike” memorabilia. Thank you to Advanced Sportswear for providing us with another online store which closed August 31, 2023. If you selected to pickup your apparel from the run you will find your top in the Pavilion on run day!

A limited supply of Run for Mike baseball hats will be available for purchase for $15 each the day of the event. First come, first serve. When they're gone, they're gone! Cash, check or Venmo accepted.

This run is for fun and to show our continued support for Kristi, Owen & Ethan; the run will not be timed. All proceeds will go to the Eden Prairie Baseball Association, which provided immense support and joy to the Elhards and Best Christmas Ever (BCE), which blessed the Elhard family in their time of need. Kristi is now a BCE Captain, this means she will select a family who has fallen on hard times of their own and surprise them with a Best Christmas Ever!
