The Loop Race

The Loop Race offers both a hybrid and virtual race option, allowing participants to run the event remotely using the Racejoy App for real-time tracking and virtual support. This historic race, established in 1972, follows a scenic path around Philadelphia's Schuylkill River, passing notable landmarks. Due to construction, the course is currently an out-and-back route, maintaining its traditional distance. Proceeds support the maintenance of Fairmount Park's Belmont Plateau cross-country courses. Cash and age group awards are given, with bonuses for breaking course records. The virtual event features advanced tracking and virtual engagement options, with results submitted automatically.
