The Run Above the Clouds 10k/5k

The Run Above the Clouds is an annual endurance event in the North Georgia mountains, featuring road races on a challenging out-and-back course. It reaches an elevation of 2800 feet, including a notable climb known as “the Cooper Gap Climb.” The event supports Woody Gap School, Georgia's smallest K-12 public school, by providing scholarships to its graduates. Organized by a nonprofit, the event aims to encourage further education for students. Participants receive a tri-blend t-shirt with registration.
